Hey, I’m Sarah… an ACE certified personal trainer + group fitness instructor, fitness director at a private club, mama to two handsome boys, lover of coffee + wine, lifter of weights, and an entrepreneur at heart!
Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted to be my own boss lady. When I was about 8 years old, my dad made me my very own desk for my first “business.” I spent hours making fake phone calls, taking messages, setting imaginary appointments, and writing checks for lots of money (I am talking hundreds and thousands, people!)
I started The Fit Niche blog and my FREE Facebook Group (Fit Biz and Blog Mastermind Community) as a place for fitness and wellness entrepreneurs to come together and connect, learn, grow, and support one another!
Here you will find easy-to-follow tips and advice about blogging and the fitness business, stories of entrepreneurship, done-for-you content and products, and just all the things that I wish I knew when I started out in the fit biz/blogging world!

I pick things up and put them down, that includes weights, my son, and cups of ☕️
I grew up lifting weights with my dad in our family shed turned weight room. That is where I learned all about reps, sets, and getting pumped up! 🙂
I played soccer and tennis in college, majored in Sports Management, and have been in the fitness industry on and off ever since (2005).
I like to stay active and exercise to feel good.
As much as I’ve tried, I don’t really like running!
I became a new mom in February 2016 to a cool little dude and became a mom of two boys in November 2017.
I love Christmas and start listening to Christmas music November 1st!
You can usually find me wearing workout gear, sporting a messy bun, and drinking a coffee.
I love to learn about marketing and social media as it relates to growing an online business.
My full time job is a Fitness Director at a country club. I also train and teach 3-5 classes a week there.
I want to do what I love and also have time to spend with the people I love. Work smarter not harder…
I appreciate easy-to-follow, to the point, and actionable information that I can actually use.
I like to take long walks on beach (who doesn’t!?), eat ice cream, and do kettlebell swings.
I am just a gal living in eastern Pennsylvania who loves fitness, my family, and God.
